In order to be closer to home during the impending snowstorm, Angie Marx left her Polaris-area job early to finish her work on her laptop inside the Mean Bean Caffeine Lounge while store employee Joshua Page shovels the sidewalk of the downtown Delaware coffee shop on Jan. 7. Marx’s plan worked, as many accidents due to the weather slowed traffic to a near standstill on Thursday evening.
